(5/17/2013) - Fountain Hills Theater has announced the opening of the classic musical comedy, The Pirates of Penzance. Stash the gold! Guard the women! Hide the rum! The 'Pirates' have arrived! Set sail across our stage on this swashbuckling Gilbert and Sullivan adventure loaded with enough laughs to fill Davey Jones' locker. It follows the fortunes of Frederic, a young lad who is mistakenly apprenticed to the Pirate King. When Frederic falls for the lovely Mabel, whose father is the very model of a modern Major General, a tempest brews on the sea of love. Full of roving rogues and dazzling damsels in distress, it's a treasure chest full of mischievous musical mayhem.

PCA Family Theatre's ADVENTURES OF JAMMY DODGER Begins Tonight
(5/9/2013) - This musical presents a group of loving grandparents who encourage their grandchildren to try an old-style adventurous scavenger hunt with fresh air, go-carts & pirates, in order to get the kids away from the sedentary effects of electronic entertainment. The adventure brings the children upon a construction site bent on cutting down the last remaining ancient woods in the neighborhood. Along with the grandparents, the kids find a way to save the woods from the cold and careless construction workers.

THE PIANO GUYS Set for Mesa Amphitheater, 6/12
(4/30/2013) - The Piano Guys: Hailing from Utah, The Piano Guys became an Internet sensation by way of their immensely successful series of strikingly original self-made music videos. They've made 35 since joining forces a little more than a year ago, including their most recent hit video, an innovative 10-handed version of One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful." But it's the Guys' highly original blend of classical music with pop that has really been the cause of an Internet phenomenon that has now brought them to their major label debut album, The Piano Guys, to be released on Sony Masterworks on October 2nd, 2012.
